PATIO DOOR WARRANTY
LIFETIME WARRANTY
Rite Window extends a limited lifetime warranty on patio door units. Our door units are warrantied against chipping, cracking, peeling, pitting, or blistering.
10 YEAR WARRANTY ON LABOR
All installations are warrantied to be free from defects in workmanship for a period of 10 years from the date of installation. All labor necessary to correct any item, part or accessory covered by the warranty will be provided at no charge.
50 YEAR WARRANTY ON GLASS BREAKAGE
Rite Window will provide replacement glass free of charge for any broken or failed glass unit in the door for 50 years from the date of installation under normal wear and tear (exception: vandalism, acts of god, or units with blinds in between the glass).
FINISHES WARRANTY
Rite Window further warrants the factory-applied paint on exterior vinyl window components against cracking, pitting, peeling, blistering or suffering from non-uniform fading discoloration (non-uniform fading discoloration resulting from unequal exposure of surfaces to the sun and elements is not covered by this warranty) and defects in material and workmanship for a period of fifteen (15) years from date of installation. Rite Window further warrants the factory-applied paint or stain finish on interior wood components against flaking, checking, blistering or peeling and defects in material and workmanship for a period of ten (10) years from date of installation. Damage to the paint or stain finish caused by condensation and normal wear are not covered.
HARDWARE WARRANTY
Rite Window warrants the moving parts, such as the locking mechanisms, for as long as the original purchaser owns the home under conditions of normal use and wear. Rite Window further warrants all patio door handles with a Bright Brass, Satin Nickel or Aged Bronze finish against tarnishing for as long as you own and live in the home in which the product was installed. Patio door handles with a painted finish, Flat Bronze, Modern Bronze or Antique Brass finish are warranted against flaking, checking, blistering or peeling for a period of (1) year from date of installation.
TRANSFERABLE
This warranty may be transferred to the Owner’s immediate transferee provided the owner or transferee notifies Rite Window in writing at the following address, 7 Roessler Road Woburn, MA 01801, within ninety (90) days of the property’s deed transfer date. The correspondence must include the original Owner’s name and address, and the transferee’s name and phone number.
*This is a non-prorated warranty providing full replacement costs for covered items. It is limited to the home or structure in which the windows were originally installed. Screen repairs, acts of god, and vandalism are not warrantied; additional cost will apply. A service trip cost will be applied to all scheduled service appointments. This warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may also have other rights which vary from state to state.
